Two Queens is an artist-run gallery and studios situated in Leicester UK’s cultural quarter. 

Got some KOM’s the other day. Bad weather makes for fast times apparently. I also managed to keep my average speed above 19mph. I was excited to do well on some of these segments, I wasn’t targeting them or any thing, I sustained an effort to the highest point in the ride. Trying to keep up on the second half, climbing off the saddle at points to keep some momentum.

18km run this morning. Got a bit lost trying to navigate my way through some fields. I have cycled back and forth to work for the last week, covering maybe 200km. Legs felt good running though, carried me at a steady pace through trails and road. Got my CR back too.

Open water swimming went well. A lot easier to swim without a wetsuit. It was cold. My jaw hurt from shivering, and gritting my teeth. My brother and I were both keen on swimming when we were younger, we competed in an open water swim event in Africa. It was fun to think of that this morning. 
Water was clear. First 500 was cool, cold set in after that. I felt the familiar sensation of my scalp tightening in the cold. Good.

Pretty clean 15k running route. Hotter than expected… No water. Lots of wandering. Bum average pace, but good to shake out my stiff legs.
